I downloaded Panda Paltinum Internet Security off of majorgeeks.com on 5/8/2004. It worked great, but I was never able to register it. I contacted Panda via e-mail several times, but never received an activation code. Eventually, my updates stopped because I don't have a user name or ID. You can't get that unless you have the activation code to register the product. I have spent the last 6 weeks e-mailing and calling Panda. They say regnow.com should provide the activation code. Regnow.com says only Panda has the activation code. At least regnow.com has been prompt in relying to me. Panda has ignored me. Is PandaSoftware a fraud? I feel like they stole $45 from me. I paid for software that won't work, and they won't even bother to contact me with help. Two weeks ago I sent them copies of my credit card statement proving that I actually bought it, but I still have heard nothing. Has anyone else had problems with these people? Any help would be appreciated. Also, any recommendations for other anti-virus software?

did you send them a phony email address, or a webmail address that automatically filters your email?

They email you the registration key.

Spam filters on my mail server catch it and report it as spam, but its not.

Just gotta have a good eye for it before it gets deleted.

I am still wating for an answer to a question posed about 6 months ago.

It is because of this... once my paid subscription runs out. so will they

They even had the nerve to send me a survey on what do I think of their customer service LOL I told them they can kiss my well you know what...

Just dispute the charge like xflat says.

I think adryn is right though cause my activation code was sent to the bulk mail. just happen to have checked my bulk folder that time:D:D

Looks like I made the right decision for once. Ages ago, when Panda was all the rage on MG I got a friend to download it for me, as I am on dialup (he has broadband) and burn it onto CD. I was never game to use it coz of all the pro's and cons. Stuck with AVG, now using Avast. Bazza
