I tried this program in its trial basis at the beginning of april for about 2 -3 weeks and after reading reviews and that decided to purchase a subscription about mid April. The program worked fine for me during trial, however april 28, I had a problem with my user id and sent an email to panda as the program is tech supported by email. I finally did get a response and it said to reenter my user name which i did and that settled everything back to normal. updates were downloading automatically and the screen message indicated that my notebook had high protection.
It is a intel pentium 4, 512 RAM, 1.9ghz and I have not had any major problems or a crash in 3 years since i bought it. I have good security programs and update and scan on a regular basis.

then on may 4th the autoupdates stopped and i attempted to do manual ones and keep getting the error message "could not replace the virus signature file."
Then i did reboots tried manual method again and get the message "HTTP 41 error"
The activity report shows little, simply autoupdate "incorrect" and manual update "incorrect".
i have sent this all off to panda email support as of thursday the 5th and still have heard nothing from anyone.

I have changed no settings to my security programs and they worked well with the program during the trial period and i have also added no new programs.

the inhouse techie at the office checked the registry and as well did scans for viruses and malware, trojans, etc. and nothing.

i have had no major problems or crashes in the 3 years of owning the notebook as i update regularly, scan regularly and defrag as deemed necessary.

Just wondered if anyone is familiar with this program and may have comments.

I have gone into Internet Explorer at the advice at another forum into tools and options and user authentication to log on and "automatic log on only intranet zone or prompt for user" is checked off.
That was a suggestion that may possibly cause the problem, but the setting was OK.

I keep getting a popup from tru prevent which has a Panda Bear on my task bar advising me to do updates and I can't.

I hope that some member may have knowledge of this program. It worked great while it was on trial and now after the money has been paid it is acting up.
And I have not changed anything.

    I look forward to comments.

    Regards
