I hava a parasite. Came to this site to download Adaware. It quarantined all problems and created a new one: I could no longer access the internet through my cable modem. My cable company thought the parasite connected to a file regarding my IP Address. I un-quarantined the files and I can bet online but back to the original problem. Is there a way to determine the files I need to quarantine w/o screwing up my interet? Or do I pay Virtual Bouncer $20. to remove it. That is what came with my Compaq computer I have never registered it though. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

You don't mention the name of the parasite that caused your initial problem or the details of your system; however, since you developed a connectivity issue after removing certain files via Ad-Aware, my best advice to you is that you run Ad-Aware again, then go to their support forums and post your Ad-Aware log. They should be able to give you the best advice on what to remove.
