Partioning!

Is there a way to partion the main hard drive while windows is installed?

Aka, I have a 80GB hard drive, with 50GB of spare space, I have 20 GB of data I NEED to backup! I dont have a spare hard drive, so is there a program I can download to partion off 20GB of space of the main C hard drive without loosing anything, dump my data on that 20GB of space, reset, format, install a fresh copy of XP Pro, then copy my data off that partioned space, then wipe the partition out and accumilate it back to the main drive partition
