Partition 'information mismatch'; no drive letter

Hi guys,
I tried to merge 2 partitions with partition magic and I got an error #1529 'information mismatch'. Now the drive doesn't show up in My Computer, what must I do to fix this? Restarting doesn't fix the problem and I can't run chkdisk because I can't see the drive.

 

Goto control pannel,Administrative tools,Computer management,then disk management the drive is it there ???

If yes give him a letter and reformat if you want to !!!!!

 

this prob is quite similar to mine what i had some time ago. i deleted one of my partitions through the disk magement, i was in despair because there were lots of my precious data. so i asked this question in forums, then i was suggested to try acronis product disk director, it turned out that it can recover lost partitions in minutes! i was very happy.
