I used to dual boot linux until my brother screwed something up, so I got rid of it. There's now a whole bunch of smallish partitions which I would like to merge into my data drive. Anybody know of a good partition software which I could use?

By the way, partition magic is out of the question. I have a different disk geometry than it uses (whatever that means).

XP has its own disk management, just delete all the partitions and if they are next to each other, you will then get that block of space back and only have to re-format it.

the thing is, I don't want to delete all my stuff. I was looking for something in terms of a free partition manager that could merge partitions

I'd recommend you to take a look at Disk Director by Acronis.
