Partition ? using PC Relocator Ultra

Hi, I'm trying to get all my info from my old PC to my new one and so I was told PC Relocator Ultra was a good package. The problem is that on my old PC, my hard drive is partitioned into C and D with D being the major portion of the drive (the majority of stuff I want is on the D portion of the partitioned hard drive). Ok, well my new PC is just the opposite. It is partitioned so that the C partition is huge and the D partition of the drive is very small. Good 'ole PC Relocator does not give you an option as to where to relocate. IF, I didn't have a partition at ALL on my new PC it would copy everything from my old D drive to C:\D drive\ on the new one, but because I do -- it automatically wants to put everything from my old D drive onto my new D drive and there's no way it will fit.....grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

So, my question is....what would be the easiest way to remedy this? I've never tried to partition a drive myself. Should I take what I already have on my NEW D drive and make that an E partition and then try to make a huge D partition like I had on my old drive? I'm so aggrevated with this whole mess cuz I spent the extra money to make it easier to move the MP3s etc., and it's becoming a nightmare. I want to put my old sound card in my new PC too, but if I can't get all my MP3s over, it's not worth it. Poop!

If anyone out there can make any sense of this post, could you please advise and please give DETAILED instructions cuz I'm definitely not seasoned at this!

    Thanks again,
    Cherie

Or you can simply attach the old drive to your new computer and then copy the files where you want them.

    Thanks again,
