Okay I have about a 189GB partition with my HDD...problem is...I want to install a fresh copy of Vista without giving up my windows installation and I allocated all the space to this one partition...

What do I need to break off a chunk of 20GB and make a new partition? Cuz I can't seem to do it in Windows...

    It's a SATA HDD too...

    Thank you in advance...

You need a third-party software program such as Partition Magic to make a new partition without losing your data. Lot's of different choices here:
