partypoker.com in IE

Hello all,

(Not sure if this is an Internet Explorer question or a game question, so I'll put it to the gamers and see what happens )

I installed Party Poker's GUI, tried it out for a day or two, and then uninstalled it. There is a "partypoker.com" menu item in my IE tools list that the uninstaller did not remove, and I don't know how to get rid of it.

When I click on it, I get an error that Windows cannot find the file C:\Program Files\PartyPoker\PartyPoker.exe.

Any ideas out there?

Did you uninstall it correctly? Using uninstall button

 

Yes, I uninstalled using add/remove programs in the control panel.

 

1. Open Internet Explorer

2. Look for arrows like this (>>) on the toolbar (should be at the far right side)

3. Click it and select customize

4. Find the PartyPoker icon and highlight it

5. While highlighted click the remove button

controlmind: Thanks, but that's not what I was referring to. I was referring to an item in the tools drop down menu.

I e-mailed Party Poker to ask for help, and they replied a few minutes later with the following:

Dear Player,

TO DELETE PARTYPOKER.COM FROM THE ýOPTIONSý MENU ITEM IN THE ýMENU BARý OF IE.

1. Click on "Start"
2. Select run and enter "regedit"
3. Click on (+) "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE"
4. Click on the (+) sign next to "SOFTWARE"
5. Click on the (+) sign next to "Microsoft"
6. Click on the (+) sign next to "Internet Explorer"
7. Click on the (+) sign next to "Extensions"
8. Search for the folder which contains the value "MenuText REG_SZ Partypoker.com" in the right side pane and delete that particular folder.


It worked!!!!
