Password help?

I'm quite new to this site and this is my first post. What I want to know is this. I want to know if there is a way to retrieve an email password. It is my boyfriend's email and I want to find out his password because, lets just say I have suspesion of cheating going on...anyways, I know his username. He has used my computer a lot when at my house. Is there any chance that his password was stored somewhere on my mac computer when he used to check his emails? I don't want to buy keyloggers and anything else for this, I just want to know if there is any other possible way to get his password (without it having to be changed in any way)? I don't want replies with reasons to why it is wrong, or trust issues. If you have an answer for me, please provide it. I'd like to hear them all.

I am not familiar with Mac, but in Windows there is a system information utility that retrieves many of your passwords.
I'm sure there is something similar for Mac.

Thanks. That did help me a little bit. But the keychain access only displays a few in the list. It displays my aol passwords, but does not display passwords for my email accounts such as gmail or hotmail. Is there a way to turn these other options on? Or is there a reason to why all of my passwords I enter on the internet are not shown or stored?

 

As I said before, I am unfamiliar with the ins and outs of Mac.

if he is using webbased mail & not storing the password you'll need a keylogger. They are simple so why avoid it?

I used one on my gf when she would come over hang out, check her email and leave I got to wondering and caught her.
