password Me files

I am running Windows Me ( ), hopefully XP soon, but I want to keep my nosey little bro's out of my files on here. They get into them and mess around all the time, even deleting some programs I download (little brats), just wondering if I can in some way make a new folder and then put like a password or a "lock" on it. Please help.
