password problems

hi all my problem is I was given a used computer,and it has windows xp professional on it. but it is set up with a password;that is unknown how do I get around that problem. so i can get in to window's. this is driving me crazy!cry

You could ask whoever gave you the computer what the PW is.

 

You would need to talk to whomever gave you the computer to get the password. While I can fully understand your frustration, we have had people sign up here to find ways to get into stolen computers. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying yours is stolen, we just have to be careful so that we aren't held liable in situations that cross a legal line.
