Hey, is there any way to password protect a file on vista?

Basically to access the file, I want a menu to pop up and prompt the input of a password.

You cannot password protect files or folders.

Not natively to Vista, but there are two ways to do this: 1-zip the file using a .zip program, assign a password to the file and delete the original, or 2-use a third party program, like http://www.androsasoft.net/

Sorry, I meant to say "folder" not "file"....any help with that?

My initial response can be applied to either folders or files.
