password solution

my computer starts up & all it shows is a lock any way 2 get past that

 

I'am sorry i should have explained in more detail,i have XP with sp2 i bought a 60g hard drive at liquoidation i dident get a receipt.when i start up my comp a lock appears on the screen it wont go into setup or boot options it won't exceptdisks that are inserted,my thought was maybe someone might have came across this problem and push a key or a sequence of keys on keyboard ,that would bypass this password.think-youconfused:confusedhttp://forums.majorgeeks.com/images/smilies/confused.gif
