Patch needed for Anacapri the dream DVD

I am running Window 7 upgraded from Windows XP. I reinstalled a Anacapri the Dream DVD game successively but now when I am at a scene with dialog, I don't have any sound. Sound is fine when music is playing, it only loses sound when the dialog should be playing. Everything else works fine.

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
AMD Athlon 64 X Processor 3800
RAM 2048 MB

Is there a patch available that would restore my dialog sound?

Hi

In looking on this issue, it would need the makers of the game to update, its worth emailing them to ask if updates for Windows 7 compatibility are available to fix your issue.

I would say as you have updated from XP to Win7 was this as new clean install or an upgrade?

In device manager are all devices ok or do any have yellow ! marks and if so by what device?

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I was contacted by the makers of the game and they stated that the game will not run on Windows 7. There are no updates that will correct the problem.
They do have a newer version that will run on Windows 7, which I will be purchasing.
