   i have software that i apply patches to that work fine in windows XP but not in windows vista. please can anybody tell me what to do that will allow the software to work in windows vista with the patches apply. pleaaaaaase urgent reply

   Which Vista are you using is it 32bit or 64bit?
   
   What is the name of the software you are trying to patch?
   
   If you try to apply the patch what error messages do you get and do tell us them verbatim?
   
   
   Quick thing to try is right click these patches and choose Run as Administrator, does get many but not all patches etc to install.
