Path to 9/11

Hey Guys,

Just been sitting on my backside the past 2 hours watching path to 9/11 (Part 1), very interesting movie, so far there is alot of information that I had no clue about before, and I think that will also stand for a large base of viewers, apparently its a worldwide multi-cast premier, we`ll ad's have finished, heading back to watch it!

Edit: I'm upto the bit where they've identified the tall one as Osama, now its the news reporters interview (Don Miller), but in their info on Bin Laden, why wasn't the fact that the USA CIA financed Osama? There is absolutely no mention of it what so ever....

it's my understanding that the US CIA financed the taliban, not osama.
osama has money, what he lacked was a way to motivate large numbers of people and communicating with them. that's where the CIA comes into the picture. as you may or may not know the CIA used the taliban to drive russia from afghanistan.

 

I assumed it was a docco/dramatization of actual events.... my bad.

 

That was truly a day from Hell.

Here in CNY, we had a large group of people ready to go down there and help, but unfortunately, we were held here because no one knew what was going on and they did not want to deplete our local EMS Resources.

Here's to never forgetting those who died. As the saying went, All gave seom and some gave all.

Just finished watching it, they showed the terroists getting up in the plane ready to take over the cockpit, then blanked out to "To be continued...."

Ack, I was actually enjoying it, I didn't think I would, thought I would get frustrated with the 'Politicalness', but wasn't really there thankfully.
