pavilion won't power up

hello, i've searched through old threads but haven't found the answer yet...
our computer won't turn on. it's been off for about a week and when we went to turn it on today it wouldn't. it's an hp pavilion a420n. the light on the power supply at the back of the computer blinks steadily but that's the only thing that happens. not even the fans turn on. tried different power cords. not sure what else to look for... help? thanks!

 

Most likely going to need a new PSU. The only we can do is recommend you take it to a local computer shop for them to test/replace the PSU.
