pc anywhere

Hello,would pc anywhere work with,well i'll create a scenario.I have laptop at home.I have private phone line at home .No internet at home .I have pc at the office with internet stick and magic jack for phone line.Works good.Could i use phone modems built into computers to run computer at the office from home?

Is magic jack good enough for data? That is the only issue you may have.
I remember back in the day VOIP wouldn't even carry FAX transmissions.

But PCAnywhere does support dial up.

 

You need to have internet connection in place in order to remotely access any computer in world using different remote support tools such as PCAnywhere, gosupportnow, logmeinrescue, GoToMyPC etc. Without internet connection, remote connection or session cannot be established.

 

How is the office machines modem connected to a phone line?
