PC-cillin

I am trying to download and install Panda Titanium + Firewall 2007 it is telling me that I need to uninstall PC-cillin. I have tried going thru the control panel to add/remove programs and PC-cillin cannot be found. I have tried editing the registry and doing a search on Trend micro PC-cillin, it found one entry which I deleted. I then restarted my computer and tried to download and install Panda again and it told me the same thing. That I need to uninstall PC-cillin. I don't know what else to try. This is getting very frustrating. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

 

What opperating system are we working with?

 

Windows XP Home Edition

 

Use a reg cleaner ,

Crap cleaner
available for download on this site
install use it

then try different searches in regedit.exe

trend micro;
cillin;

delete them if they check out to be belonging to pc cillin

 

I have tried using a registry cleaner and also doing multiple searches in regedit. Have deleted anything that was associated with Trend Micro PC-cillin. Still won't work. Still says I have to uninstall PC-cillin. Very frustrating!!

 

Is it still anywhere in: C:/Documents and settings/owner/application data?

 

I right clicked on the start menu then explore and looked in Documents and Settings under both users names then in the application data and did not see it anywhere. Thanks so much for your help. I really appreciate it.
