Hope someone can help. So a week back my monitor turned off/no signal while gaming, came back after a few minutes and was fine. Recently the problem has gotten a lot worse, now whatever game I play, the monitor displays a no signal, but the sound freezes now and the whole system crashes. The lights are still on and the fans work, but it has to be powered off and on.

I know this could be a number of things from the GPU to PSU, but my oldest component is the PSU which is about 6 years old, the rest of the parts are less than a year old.

Here are my voltages from bios:
    cpu v: 1.428
    ddr v: 1.575
    +12.0 v: 12.114
    +5.00 v: 5.076
    HT voltages: 1.200
    cpu-NB voltages: 1.140
SB voltages: 1.111(this value fluctuates to 1.113 every few seconds)

I can browse the internet or do simple tasks fine, but as soon as I load a game up it crashes anytime from a minute to hours of gameplay. After resetting upon a crash the monitor will not always display, sometimes loading to login screen, sometimes crashing altogether.

Has anyone had an issue similar to this? Does that sound like a PSU issue?

    Thanks for reading.

Diffidently sounds like a GPU issue or other Driver issue make sure all your drivers are up to date.3.10 driver is the latest for nvidia drivers.

I found what it was, so for anyone having similar issues here was my problem. The CPU was overheating, never had this happen before, but during a stress test I had noticed the heat at 55-60C, took the computer apart and removed a layer of dust from the heatsync and now it's operating at 45C when in game, and as of yet no crashes.

    Thanks everyone!

I would have either gone with dust problem or driver issue.

Glad its fixed clean your system every month and it will not build up like that.
