Just moved into a new house and my roommate already has his wifi set up. My phone and my ps3 had no trouble connecting but my pc wont. It recognizes the network and im 100% sure the password is correct. Ive uninstalled the drivers for my wireless adapters and let it reinstall but im still not getting anything. My pc is running windows 7 and my wireless card is a dlink dwa 552 extremen. Im not super techno savvy so any and all help is appreciated.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Since your PC is the only thing not connecting, try running the troubleshooter option by right-clicking on the wireless signal bars at the bottom right of the screen.

If you're getting a signal that the Wi-Fi is connected (no red "x" or yellow circle over the signal bars), the Wi-Fi adapter may be failing. The good news is USB ones are dirt cheap. I'd go for a replacement card or USB Wi-Fi if all else fails.

    Hope this helps. :)
