PC Fault with a game called "Secret Weapons Over Normandy"

Help Requested:

After receiving confirmation from CompUSA technicians that my computer was up to the task to play the aforementioned game without any problems, I forked over several dollars and bought the game for my son.

Following 10 attempts to download this game, which has 4 CDs ,all I get is a thundering message which says "game must be terminated due to a problem with "tesla.exe", pardon the inconvenience, would you like to report this to Microsoft?"

I do not have a clue how to remedy or what it will take to fix this problem. Lucas Arts was of no help ( its their game), nor did Microsoft provide any guidance. Further frustration to my minor geek brain has occurred because I do not know the purpose of this item.

Any education and hopefully a fix would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Stephen,

I've had a similar problem in that when I select "Play" from the menu, I get the "error running tesla.exe" message. Did you ever get this resolved, and if so, how? Thanks!
