PC has just recovered from a serious error....

I have just installed XP on a Hard Drive i have just formatted, installed a few drivers for ethernet connection and nvidia graphics card and when i rebooted i got the message 'The system has recovered from a serious error'.

Does anyone know what this means?

Apologies if this is in the wrong section but i do not know where the problem lies.

this type of error is an indication of incorrect or missing registry entries.since you have only installed this os recently i would suggest you do a repair install of your os.
