PC has serious issues

I have no idea where to go or what to do in this situation. Ive been to a few forums and no one can offer help. I'm having problems with my desktop I have a wireless laptop and my browsers work perfect on it. On my desktop though it is a different story. IE will not work, Mozzila Firefox will not work and none of my instant message programs will do anything at all. I have ran spyware progs and deleted all the bad stuff. This is the error I am getting

It says Connection Interrupted
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading. The network link was interrupted while negotiating a connection. Please try again.

Please someone help me before i toss this thing up against a wall! Thank you

 

Try to do this

start>>run>>cmd>>type in "ping google.com" without quotes and then right click and mark the output of the command and paste the output here. This will show if any network traffic can come in and out.

 

How is the pc connected to router?

can you log onto the router setup webpage?

start>control panel>network connections. right click the connection you are using and try the repair option.

I have the internet its just nothing will bring it up
