PC keeps locking up when Realtek is installed

I saw a post that had a 'lock-up' related issue, but my one is kinda different.

My problem is simple: PC keeps freezing/locking-up when realtek HD is installed. When its uninstalled, no problems. I have no idea why its doing this, and I need help before i throw this system outside my window. Its been going on for about a week, and i have no where to turn to. Someone, please show me the rgiht wayzzzrolleyes

 

Nudge for hope Im running xp on sp3, and i know its 'UAA for HD Audio' related, but i just dont know what to do. Someone, please help me :/ Thanks.

 

maybe try restore, to a earlier date. when it worked.

or try to update

 

Agreed... the Everest report will provide a ton of information about your system, and your drivers. Once we have that, we'll do our best to help you out.

By posting in "Drivers", you'll put your post where those who know the most about drivers hang out here at MGs and that increases your chances of getting help as well.

 

Yeah thanks guys, but ive decided to switch to Windows 7. Support for XP has offcially ended, as you all know, aand Microsoft is trying to kill it (again), and this time, i think theyll succeed.
