Pc live gaurd

I cannott rid myself of a proggramme called Pcand do live guard. I have windows vista I have trawled therouigh the proggrammes cannot find it but it pops up saying I am infected with stuff do |I want to buy it. I seem unable to disable it. Have you any ideas please?:yum

Thanks for your advice I disabled it with C Cleaner from my start up. MY other proggrammes avg and malware did not detect any viruses or malware. I think that it was a con to frighten me into buying it. PS was does nic mean?:drool

Hi

I would be following what Sikvik posted above as while this startup is disabled, you may have other malware on your system that "could" cause issues, espeically if you shop or bank online, many malwares these days are not one infection but multiple ones to fool the user.

On the Nic or User name, PM me with what you want it to be and I will change it but remember you will need to login with the changed one as your user name, password will be same as I cannot change that. To PM click my user name and choose Send Private Message to......
