Hiii my desktop suddenly just shut down and would not power up again... I tried to test the PSU on another PC and it works fine. When I put another PSU on my desktop however, the processor fan spins only for a moment.

I was wondering if that the PSU did not had enough watts and so I took out some hardware (vid card, ram, etc) and THEN the processor fan span for continuously...

So now I'm not really sure what's up... is it my motherboard that's having trouble or my desktop's PSU? >_<

When the fan did work what part had you taken out?

If you hooked up a known working PSU to your motherboard and the fans spin up for only a second, then the motherboard has failed. If it was just a faulty processor or faulty RAM, the fans would at least spin....
    :(
