PC Problems

Anytime i go to watch a video it tells me that i need to download adobe flash player 8. I downloaded it and it said download complete but yet it still tells me that i need to download it still. I have attached a hijackthis log and please tell me any problems that i need to fix. Thank You.

 

I do not know how to turn it on.

 

Where is javascript at?

 

In IE 7 window
Tools >Internet Options > Security tab

Internet, Click on Custom level

Scroll toward bottom of list to "Scripting"
Check the "Active Scripting" to enable or prompt, if disabled.
Click OK, (that window will close)

It will go back to Main window "Security tab"
Click Apply
Click OK
Close window

 

It was on enable so I changed it to prompt and this quest kept on coming up everytime. The question was Do you want scripts to run? I clicked yes and then yes and so on. It still wont work for some reason.

 

Maybe a stupid question, but you don't mention, so I have to ask:

You've downloaded the latest flash player, but have you installed it?

 

i think so but how do i kno if i installed it. It is an icon on my screen though.

The screen is white. Then if it does work it starts to download and then a little green triangle, a little red cirle and a blue square pop up in the top left hand corner and some of the times it is a square with an X in it.

 

If you click on error boxes, any message? Can you please do a screenshot and attach to post.

Also sorry, should have looked at the log before, you have mywebsearch installed, its spyware and you should remove via the Malware Forum Read & Run Me, that could be part of your problem.

Sorry I don't understand " it will not clean my computer" please supply more detail.

The link I provided is to the Malware Forum here at Majorgeeks and gives you directions on how to clean your computer, it's a process and steps to follow in the order given, please read the whole page and do the process. It's not a one click fix, the Blue highlighted/underlined text are links in the process, click on them as you do the steps.
I find printing them is easier for me and checking them off as completed.
