PC Problems..

OK I suck at life I know but I'll get over it.. maybe

Anyway, I am having problems with my computer for some reason if it sits idle for a long time or If I shut down it takes 4-12 times to try to get it booted up often taking hours.

If I need to give any kind of numbers & smart people things tell me what it is & how to get to it

Ok I downloaded the second one.. but It still happens.. my computer when I leave it for a while will pretty much die..ish.. my keyboard & mouse will shut off my monitor will turn black but you can still tell that it is on, my speakers will show they are on, & my CPU power light is on.. but yet I cant do anything without shutting it down & when I do that I cant hardly get it to start up... it is 7:10 PM where I live.. it was 3:50 when I tried to get the computer on.. & it just booted up half an hour ago

 

You the program from the link to get the info on your computer. Is it a laptop, desktop, what type, what Operating System...

The only thing im smart enough to figure out at the moment is the operating system..

The program called Everest is not supposed to fix your problem. You have to double click on the file that you downloaded to install it. Then run it. Everest will show you all the hardware in your computer: the makes and models of the various parts. We need this info in order to try and help. So: run Everest and make note of the make and model of the PC or motherboard, include the chipset type and some basic info like how much RAM is installed, hard drive type/brand, video card brand and model, etc. All this info will be found in Everest once it's installed and run. Just poke around in Everest (you can't possibly do any harm just by looking around at what it can show you), and write down what it tells you. If you know how, generate a report and take some screenshots and attach them the next time you post.

try safe mode and/or msconfig.

Start>run typein
msconfig

go to the start tab

tick disable all

restart your pc

Does it now run fast enough to do the fixing?

You need to know that this process has not corrected any error and will need reversing eventually.
