I need to ask anybody who might know what is it that usually causes a PC to do this on a random basis and not on any certain time and or certain program.

Please help with solutions of what may cause this problem I have no idea, all of the hardware seems to be ok.

Based on my own experience in 2004 with a new Dell desktop...this symptom might be hardware related...in the end the motherboard was found to be defective. Once replaced, no more freeze-ups or blue screen errors. Like yours, my freeze-ups were totally random. Good luck.

did you install anything recently that could be the problem?

open up your task manager and sort by cpu, (what program is it?)
then sort by mem, ( what program is sucking the most memory?)
Also try cleaning out your startup.

Okay how about you download a diagnostics program and post a .txt report. From this we can assess temps/volts/fans and other parameters and begin to assess your potential prob. This is an excellent one:

It will also give important baseline specs of your system and allow a lot greater input. Post back and we will go from there.

    Give This Ago!!

Give yourself fresh Macromedia Player program installation [To Eliminating the Freezing/Bugs??]

    1]
Have a look within = Control Panel = Add & Remove = and see if you have both programs listed of Macromedia Flash Player and Macromedia Shock Wave Player and uninstall same! [Could show as Adobe?? = They may not show in Add and Remove?? = If not there use the Macromedia Uninstallers??]

    2]
Next Go to URL [May have to copy and paste into Internet Address Field]

    www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/alternates/

    3]
There you will see the ''Uninstallers'' for Flash and Shock! Do repeat the Macromedia Uninstallers for Macromedia Flash Player and Shock WavePlayer ''Uninstall Programs'' Then after using the Add/Remove Uninstall please use the above uninstallers a couple of times to make sure it has uninstalled their programming!

    4]
Then install both the latest Macromedia players as available from within the above web page.

This may be worth the try to see if overcomes your problems
    Hope may help!

Overclocking the cpu or video card can cause lockups and freezes. Heat can be another thing that causes issues.

In my experience, the usual cause of freeze ups is a combination of 1) too much malware 2) too many background processess and 3) not enough RAM. The first two, I believe, we can solve free if you follow Bold Eagle's advice. The third, if it is a problem, I believe will also be diagnosed by everest, but would require a hardware change to fix.
