My PC reboots when ever I trry to boot it up. It gets to the windows splash screen and reboots. It is not connected to the internet or to another PC. Its OS is WindowsXP Pro. I do not have the windows cd, I just moved and cannot find it anywhere. Any help is appreciated.

    Try safemode.
    Try system restore.

You said you just moved was the computer working fine before you moved. If so something may have come loose during the move. You migh check inside the computer to see if the Heatsink and fan are on good. When you open the side of the case make sure you ground yourself to the side of the case or the power supply. If it is not the heatsink you may have to reseat the processor. Can you go into the bios screen to check the approx temp of the cpu.

I cannot get it to boot in any mode, therefore I am not able to restore.

I noted that I cannot find the disc because I moved, but what I forgot to say was that the PC wasnt booting before the move. I just got around to trying to get it running again. It is my kids PC they have for school, and they have been using mine and it is driving me nuts, lol.

I looked in the case, everything is connected.

I also found my disc, yay. Hopefully that helps.

    Reinstall xp.
If that fails then we should troubleshoot hardware.

Try repairing the OS before a fresh install, even if youv nothing to lose finding drivers can be a pain.
