Pc Shutdown

Hi
Im haveing trouble with my pc, everytime i try to download of the internet e.g msn messenger, my pc automaticially shuts down, any one no why

 

sounds like a virus to me u have to be more specific i really cant say much u might have spyware too find and download ad-Aware off of www.downloads.com see if that fixes it only run ad aware by itself dont do anything else

 

First off, go to this thread and follow the instructions.
Basic Spyware, Trojan, Virus Removal After doing this your computer should be clean.

Secondly, Major Geeks.Com has all the spyware/virus removal downloads and many, many, many more helpfull downloads.

It could be just a general protection fault, first disable the automatic shutdown function like this:
Right click my computer > Properties > Advanced > under startup and recovery click Settings > disable the 'reboot automatically'Try doing whatever you did before to cause the problem again, if you get an error message write it down and come back here with it, then we'll be able to help you better.
