PC terribly slow aft

    Hi,
    I recently posted a new thread Vista stil slow after malware removal, which has been moved to the networking section, but working offline is not OK either, pictures of about 2mb take forever to load and photo-editing programs even longer. I also cannot get my HP solution centre to run at all (for scanning something from a magazine). Am I right in thinking this is NOT software related?
