    Hello all,

I am having a huge problem trying to connect my PC and TV to view on TV. I have a GeForce4 MX 440 graphics card and a 6ft S-Video cable. I do not have an s-video port on my television; however I do have a port on my DVD/VCR player. The S-video wire is plugged into the graphics card and into the DVD player. My GeForce software does not even recognize the connection. TV and DVD player work properly.

I am baffled by this problem and if anyone can help or needs more info to answer my question I will give it. Any advice is appreciated.

Your DVD player S-video is output only. The S-Video is there to connect the DVD player to the TV. It shouldn't work like that.

Check if it says "S-Video Out" or "S-Video In" at the back of your DVD to double check.

What you're going to need is a composite video adapter at one end of the cable. To plug into the television.
