Hi, I have been having this problem since I built my PC.
When i chose for my Pc to go into standby it does go into standby, but when I shake my mouse for it to come out of stand by it doesn't work really

My Computer itselfdoes come out of standby cause i can hear the fans increase in speed, But my Monitor does not come out of standby, the Screen Remains Black, this is my problem

Im not sure if this is a Hardware or Software problem so i'll post it in both forums.

Try pressing spacebar, Esc button, also check your setting to see what you have set to wake from standby with. The default may not necessarily be mouse.

I would check this in the BIOS right. i vaguely remeber when i was building this pc that there was a jumper setting for like keyboard power on. I am pretty sure i have it off, Should i enable this feature?

Check in your OS too. Look in Power Schemes, this should be in your diplay properties somewhere, may be called energy features. I usually just leave my BIOS wake setings disabled and then configure my OS to control my standby options. When you find it you might want to set harddrive shut off to never.
