PC won't come out of standby

Hi, I have been having this problem since I built my PC.
When i chose for my Pc to go into standby it does go into standby, but when I shake my mouse for it to come out of stand by it doesn't work really

My Computer itselfdoes come out of standby cause i can hear the fans increase in speed, But my Monitor does not come out of standby, the Screen Remains Black, this is my problem

Im not sure if this is a Hardware or Software problem so i'll post it in both forums.

 

Sometimes it's a problem with the HD's not wanting to restart, or some other weird things. Really all you can do is patch the computer and see if it helps. Standby often gives problems on desktop PC's. Of course I never worry about it much since there really isn't much use to standby on a desktop.

 

yeh, i've seen people having problems having their desktop going into standy mode, and/or hibernate (same problem as you). i don't really know why you'd have your desktop do that anyways, but to each, his/her own. - sos

 

halo, i tried your instructions and they did not work

When i go into standby i push the space bar to come out of it (when i say go into standby, i have done it on purpose) by PC turns back on but my monitor doesnt
