    Hi.

I bought my motherboard about 3 or 4 weeks ago, and i tried overclocking it up to 140 FSB, my standard is 133 with a multiplier of 19, i thought!!

I tried it once, it was ok, but at the lanparty last week, it got to hot so i turned it back, now i tried it again, because i bought new coolingpaste, but on the next restart, i onlygot a black screen and it did not do anything, i tried restarting again, but then it did not even give a screen.

Could i have messed up my original bios or is my motherboard totally broken!?

Ps: i have dual bios, but i don't know how to swich because there are no jumpers!!

    I have a Gigabyte GA-8IK1100 AGPPro 8x/Dual Channel DDR.

I hope you can help me out, Thanks!!!

damage from ocing isn't weird, it's perfectly normal that is the risk you take when you do that ... ive oced my board and it cant reach the same 3DMark scores as it used to, at stock speed, because of damage caused by ocing ... that's part of the reason i don't do it anymore

im doubting that a BIOS flash or switching the BIOS would make much of a difference but ya never know

Damn, how could this be, i tried it once, but why does it fail this time, damnit.!!

If some one know's how to change to the back up bios, please tell me!!

    First thing to try.
Reset your mobo/cmos, it will return your mobo to default settings.
refer to mobo manual to learn how, if you dont have one, can download at Gigabyte web.
