    No, that just shows the type of ram it is. But as long as its DDR or SDram or any other kind of ram you have in your computer (most computer have space for DDR and SDRAM, DDR being double SDRAM so obviously better).

    BTW, I went to the link there and the price for that ram is pretty high. Please check out www.newegg.com for that same ram. It should be a lot cheaper.

    Exactly I went to NewEgg & found some Corsair Value Select ( same specs ) for only $84.

    If you are adding memory in addition to what you have, you should purchase the same type & speed as what ya got.

    If two different speed's memory are used they would run at the slower speed between two.

    Another note! average PC user would not notice performance differance between PC 2700 & PC 3200.

    Not all PC's support pc3200/400fsb.

    Different pc3200 memory chips support different timings, possibly reflected by varing pricing, but not necessarily.
