I am setting up a new computer and re-installing pcAnywhere V10.5. I need to find the file, or files, which contains all my HOST listings on my old PC. I have about 100 listings and really don't want to retype them. Does anyone know the name of the file and where it resides so I can copy it overT

    Thanks,

Depending on which OS then your Hosts file is located in this folder and called Hosts

    Windows XP = C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC
    Windows 2K = C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC
    Win 98\ME = C:\WINDOWS

and as simonk said above you can open it with Notepad
