I can't install driver. I don't know what this is for. Can someone please help me? I have vista.

To search for similar devices that are compatible with Windows Vista, go to the Windows Vista Hardware Compatibility List website online. Tried this and no luck.

I am pretty sure it is telling you that it will NEVER work.

 

What do I need it for? I am worried that something will go wrong.

 

It looks like a dialup modem. Do you use dialup or do you have broadband?

Sach is right. If you don't need dialup remove it. It's in PCI slot number 4. It's probably a software problem and your version of the Modem software is not compatible.
