PCI Modem Has No Driver

I stumbled upon this site while trying to fix my PCI FLASH MEMORY driver problem.

Thankfully it was fix thanks to you guys.
But I still have a PCI MODEM that has an (!) next to it and says no drivers were installed...
I ask because my USB ports don't actually work anymore. I mean they do but adding song onto my ipod it screws up halfway through. and actually have to disable USB 2.0 in order to update it and that takes forever. now with my iphone it won't restore because of the USB.

so question 1 is ... does PCI MODEM have anything to do with why my usb isn't working?

and question 2 is where is the driver.

i have a Toshiba Satellite A75 with windows XP

here is an example.

I just tried to restore my iphone. to no avail. No matter what i did it didn't work.
it kept shooting error 1604.

Then I disabled the PCI enhance USB 2.0 and did it again.

it worked. Slow as heck, but it worked.
So it's obviously a problem specific to USB 2.0 any hints as to how to fix this?

Hi

Which model A75 do you have, as there are around 15 of them and most have various differing specifications as to hardware used? (eg is A75-S2111)

Should be a sticker on the PC mentioning Model or Part Number

Or run the below

To find this info you can use the likes of Everest to find this info, at times a summary log of your PC can help, to do this

Install Everest and run
Click Report (top menu) > Report Wizard > Next
Choose All Pages > Next
Choose Plain Text > Finish and wait for report to generate
Click Save to File and leave the File Name as Report, then click the Save as Type dropdown and choose Report files (*txt) and click Save (n.b. Save to desktop is best as easy place to find it, use Browse to locate desktop)

Do any other devices in Device Manager have a yellow ! mark by them, if so what?
