    hi guys,

i cant for the life of me get this pci to sata adapter to install. i have gone to the web site and downloaded the supposed drivers and tried to install them.

its a Q-TEC 350sa ( 13434 part number ). i have tried to install the card with and with out drives attached and tried to pull it out and install it again after restarts.

the driver says to extract it to a file and then to take the device manager to that file and let it do the install but, it just says that the file contains no information about your hardware. im pretty sure the card works because i have used it befor and was working last time i checked, well except now.

the computer boots up and checks the attached drives while booting fine but just cant see them in windows.

this thing is making me feel kinda stupid as i deal with harder problems all day long

    any help welcome

    Kinda regards
    Morfien

    Kind Regards

indeed it is the device manager shows it under unknowen devices as a raid controller.

this is what it says under device details if it helps any.
