PCL XL error

I am getting a PCL xl error when printing to a network copier. I have tried reinstalling the driver twice. Still get the error randomly while printing, sometimes wont even finish printing the whole document and just print this error out. The only computer on the network that seems to have this issue.

Hi

What is the Windows version on this client PC and Server versions used on the network and are they fully upto date?

What is the printer make and model used?

Is any security software installed on this Clinet PC that could be different to the rest of the network? could try a print from Safe Mode with Networking to see if that prints ok.

If random then could be local LAN issues, have you tested the LAN load and looked for problems in the data packets being sent via the LAN? Server or Network team can check this if your on a corporate network.

Greetings.
Couple of questions for you.
1. Is the printer an HP? HP printers are sensitive to changes whether it be a MS update (which can cause issues to your drivers) or other network changes.

***Not to say do not update Windows because you should continue to do this.

2. Did you install a universal driver or the driver for your exact model of printer?

This could be an issue with your registry and MG has a number of great registry cleaners that can be downloaded that will find errors in your registry and in most cases fix them.

that computer is on windows 7 64 bit.
printing to a toshiba 5520c
they all have the same security software.
