    Hey,

I have a Thinkpad 755cx which has no on-board cdrom. I want to install Puppy Linux [which I have successfully install on a different laptop]. I have an external, I/O Magic PCMCIA CDRom drive which I have used on other machines. I'm not really familiar with the Thinkpad since I got it virtually dead [clean hard-drive, no OS, etc.] I managed to get the support files before IBM discontinued offering them.

My question is, how do I get the boot floppy to point to the PCMCIA CDRom in order to load the OS (preferrably Puppy 2.02).

    Any pointers would be appreciated.
