I have Adobe Acrobat Professional v9. Is there any way to adjust the tilt of the document. Each pages' text seems to have tilted slightly

I presume you are talking about one particular PDF document, not all PDF documents. If I am wrong, please say so.

Based on your comment, I suspect that PDF document was created by someone scanning pages of a source document on their scanner, with PDF being the output from the scanner. If the source pages are not fed through the scanner in a perfectly straight alignment, the PDF output pages will also look tilted. So, the real solution is for the originator to repeat their scanning procedure and be more careful about getting the sources pages to feed straight when fed through the scanner. Trying to correct the tilt you see on your computer screen in your PDF reader is not really practical.

Yes, as I scan and preview, I have the option to change the alignment so it isn't skew.

I suspect as usafveteran mentioned, the person doing the scanning did not clean up the scan before it was saved and sent off.

Text recognition (OCR) will automatically align the whole document.
