Pdf file : Save to folder ?

    i've downloaded a pdf file: i don't know what folder it's in; i download this pdf game manual from gamers gate, it puts it into a pdf: how can i save it so i don't have to keep downloading it ? i did a search on .pdf, part of the file name, but i can't find it; thanks

    Which PDF software are you using and OS? On Windows, you can usually go to File/Save As to save the document to the location of your choice.

    Also search advanced and put in today's date using *.pdf
    That should bring up the location of all the pdfs from today.

    if you've simply just selected open, then the file is downloaded to a temp folder and eventually erased. If you are using adobe acrobat reader, then there should be an option, or button that looks like a floppy disk to save the pdf after it's opened. You can also right-click on the link for a pdf, and choose save target as... or something similar, and it will download to where you specify.
