Pdf Freeware That Reads, Prints, And I Can Save?

to my flash-drive. I can't view my Bank Statement with this funky Twinkie PDF that comes with Win 10.

I don't just need a "viewer" or "read only" of my PDF Statements, but one I can save to my flash-drive and print out elsewhere.

Can someone make a good recommend? I saw the Sumatra, but in the description it's just called a viewer, or reader. I need to make sure I can save the files I read.

You can use the portable version of PDF-XChange Viewer.

Save it and your PDF statements to a flash drive.

Note: Next to Download, ensure you select Portable version (ZIP).

 

I'm guessing this 'funky Twinkie PDF that comes with Win 10' is your way of describing Edge, Win 10's new browser. which will open a pdf on a website by default. The three dots on the right of the toolbar open up more functions including Print, and a right click on the document itself gives you a Save As dialog box where you tell it where you want the document saved. So it's all there, you're just not seeing it because it's new to you. Whether you will be able to print elsewhere will depend on the pdf software installed on the system you are using unless, as Eldon has suggested, you use a portable pdf program installed on your flash drive.

 

True @Earthling, but this "pdf" doesn't show my whole statement for some reason. So the main reason I want a different PDF is to see if it will first, allow me to view my whole statement. So I wasn't clear on my title/subject, apologies.

 

Ok, I'll give this one a go @Eldon and as I was telling @Earthling I have to figure out why the bank can see the "email statements" they sent me on their PDF, but I can't on Twinui I think it's called. I forgot to ask what the bank uses for PDF. But the guy didn't know anything about Windows 10 so I just gave up on talking to them.

You can now view your PDF statements (or any other PDF documents) on any PC running Windows XP or later.

 

I just downloaded Icecream app for making slideshows because the Windows Movie Maker app they want dollars for. I don't pay for anything I don't know works. I suppose I could have tried it, but it wasn't on majorgeeks, not for Win 10, I don't think, and I pretty much get all my software here because I trust you guys choices of what you recommend I love Icecream

 

I accomplished everything I needed from the bank thanks to think program, and I was sure to get the portable version you recommended @Eldon If anyone is looking for that, it is in a drop-down menu near the bottom of the list just to the left of green, download button. I couldn't find it at first but it was right there

 

Here's a tip that applies to the free edition of PDF-XChange Viewer, both installed & portable versions.
Click Edit > Preferences > Registration and check the box "Hide restricted, 'PRO' funtions in the Free Viewer version". Click Apply > OK.
