    Hi,
I created a PDF document using Word 2007 on Win XP. It looks fine, but when I emailed it to my friend who opened it on a Mac, he says he sees "boxes" around all of the table of contents items and all of the website links in the document.

He opened it on a PC and it looked fine, so I guess it wasn't corrupted in the emailing, but I have no idea what this could be.. I didn't expect PDF to have compatibility issues. Advice?

    Thanks,
    Karen

Is the Mac version of Adobe completely up to date?

It's a brand new Mac, so I would assume so..?

Tell him to check his Adobe is up to date like motc7 says if so and there's still problems try another PDF reader like Foxit PDF Reader, if it's compatible with MAC which i think it is !

    Rusty ! ;)

Yeah, just like PC's some of these Mac's sit on shelves in warehouses for a long time or even if for a short time, there are updates that come out inbetween.

    Let us know!
