   Can someone tell me, is there any real difference between a pentium 4 3.06 ht,
   and pentium 4 3.0 ht? On e-bay a used 3.06 is about $160, and a new 3.0
   is about $100. Can there be that much difference in .06?

   nah you wouldnt notice any difference in that little change. Im guessing tho that the 3.06 has a bigger cache (L1 or L2) But either way, the 3.0 is the better deal
